As the governing body of the San Francisco Democratic Party, the Democratic County Central Committee (DCCC) is the caretaker of the local party: registering new voters, making endorsements, and building Democratic strength in the city. This June, voters in the 12th Assembly District will elect 12 people to serve on the DCCC.

Emily Drennen is running for DCCC to make the San Francisco Democratic Party more relevant to local politics, especially around policy issues. She'll work to ensure that local Democratic endorsements reflect the city's forward-thinking politics. She'll advocate for a strong vote-by-mail effort to increase voter participation. She's also committed to increasing representation for women, LGBT people, young people, and other groups on the 12th AD DCCC.
